James J. DeVoursney, MD, FAAD is a Board-Certified Dermatologist and Board-Certified Mohs Micrographic Surgeon who has proudly served the South Florida community for over 20 years, earning the trust and loyalty of countless patients. He began his medical career as a registered nurse before pursuing his M.D. at the University of Miami School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency in the Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery, graduating as Chief Resident. Throughout his career, Dr. DeVoursney has been honored with numerous accolades, including the Chancellor’s Award for Academic Achievement from St. George’s University School of Medicine, the Chief Resident Award from the University of Miami Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery, and the George Ioannides Award for Excellence in Resident Dermatology Teaching. In addition to his clinical practice, he is committed to educating future physicians and teaches residents during their dermatology rotations at his office for Baptist Health South Florida.
